Inspirations

A wonderful sketch by Gerald shows gesture well. The people are in action and he captures them just as there are. I think this drawing looks more like a quick sketch which is what we drew fifty of for class.










This image by Claire Fejes is a drawing of people with much more simplified lines and the colors are dulled down and flat too. It is still another way to think about when drawing people.















I thought this drawing by Nathan Fowkes was a wonderful example of gesture. He really captured the motion of the peoples arms and bodies.













This is a drawing done by Anthony Zierhut it shows two children resting after they have been skateboarding. I thought he did a great job with the watercolor!










This is a drawing done by Laureline. She posted this drawing on her blog and as I searched for drawings that showed people to scale this one caught my eye. She uses a great deal of lines to create this drawing.
