Camera fun

As a So you think you cant draw assignment we had to draw a camera..black lines only. Then edit it in photoshop. This is how it turned out!

Tree

As we drew the view from the studio window I saw this lonely little tree. We were working with patterns and I thought the crazy lines made for interesting texture...

Sketch

This is a drawing that we did as a warm up exercise in suzannes class one day. We were drawing the people across form us.

Photoshop trial 3

For this version I decided to play with the circle marquee tool and I picked the desk area because it is my favorite part in the room. I wanted it to stand out and catch the viewers eye so I made it a blue color which meshes with the other colors in my room.

Photoshop trial 2

In this perspective I used a blue color on the ceiling, and as I did in the previous perspective I correlated other colors in my room to the blue.

Photoshop trail 1

For this version of my perspective I decide to use purple as my ceiling color and as an accent color. I changed other things in my perspective to correlate with the color of the ceiling and tried to make it all flow.

5 Instpirations

This is a sketch done by Lee at the Hyochanggym Statium in Seoul. Very sketchy but beautiful.

This is a picture by Petescully its detailed but not extremely. The colors are toned down and it gives you the feel that its a cloudy day.

This was done by Lok Jansen it utilizes shapes more than anything to convey the buildings feel. He adds water color underneath for depth.

This picture was created by Olha Pryymak it is a very dark painting. It is monotone and very simple yet still very interesting.

This painting was done by Bh Yoo. The watercolor is amazing in this picture. It does a great job of making you feel as if you are standing right in front of it.

Vignettes

These drawings were our assigned homework. We were to go to a coffee shop or somewhere of that nature. Basically anywhere we could get comfortable and just draw.
The first was done at Starbucks Coffee and is odd. The woman has a rather large behind and I felt strange as I drew this. It was nice and quite with very little traffic. The mad at the counter continually stared in our direction.
The second was done at Panera Bread this man and woman were having a conversation about their lives and it seemed a bit awkward.
The third drawing was done at the Starbucks in Barns and Nobles. It was very busy in here and these two were doing homework.

In class Vignettes

These are vignettes that were done during Suzanne's drawing class. She asked us to draw her and the teaching assistants as they worked at the center table.
The first one took me a while to do because I tried to make everything as it was. This left me very little time to draw the second, so this is more of a quick sketch of them and I almost like this one better.
